A FAMILY PASSION

The most fabulous family saga in weaving history began in 1929. Since then, five generations have taken their turn leading the company and building its reputation on the excellence of its twills, crepes, cashmeres, satins, muslins... As early as the 19th century, Alexandre Perrin worked in the weaving industry in the Grand-Lemps district. His son Eugène developed a fascination for raw silk, and after returning from the United States in 1929 he founded Les Tissages Perrin. Today Jean-Laurent, Jean-Hugues and Sébastien Perrin combine daring and originality, expertise and creativity, collaboration and service, along with innovation and quality to maintain the family firm’s continued position as the leading national silk manufacturer.
